Buy this greatest sound system ever and for $80.005
I bought in hopes of it being good... boy was i right to buy this... I am 100% satisfied with it no complaints. Sound quality is great and i am a big audiophile. All speakers worked on my toshiba tablet right away out of the box... The screen changes colors and looks very cool and sleek... speakers are about 6 inches tall and 2 and a half to 3 inches deep and about 4 inches wide... bass is crystal clear do not doubt frisby. great products. i also purchased the frisby slim illuminated keyboard and i am very satisfied with that too... i am using both products as i write this and they are great... bottom line... this system is like a poor man's bose. a 3,000 watt system!!! WOOOO!!!

An Unnecessary Risk1
My system arrived at my door with the following problems. While 'stereo mode' works fine I'm getting only 2 speakers to work on 5.1 setting. It comes with no manual except for setup instructions. The LCD is also faulty with various lights that stay on when they aren't supposed to. In addition, my system arrived with a scratch on the LCD window and the protective film had been removed revealing it to be rejected by a previous customer or at best poorly refurbished.

I purchased this product via one of Comsis Computer's (makes Frisby) independent distributors, Komms at [...] Comsis is a Chinese company with IBOs in the United States and abroad so that "guy in his basement" cliche literally applies. This, frankly, would be fine with me if they were backed with the infrastructure of a solid support staff. While he seems like a nice guy, he is only person I can get on the phone. The distributor gave me for customer service but its an endless automated system that always dumps to voicemail. I have tried twice to reach someone, left two messages and have received no return calls.

I called the distributor back and asked him to replace the item or refund my money. I explained that either way was fine by me. He told me that the refunded price excludes his shipping cost (included at buying time) so by the time I pay to ship it back and am reimbursed for only the product I get half my money back. Obviously, its not worth the hassle of returning for $40, which is what they are counting on. Meanwhile, I'm stuck with a defective product and no one returning my calls to help.

My beef isn't with the distributor. He doesn't know much about the tech side of things. He is a salesman and not supposed to. To be honest, he went beyond his responsibilty but doesn't have the answers I need.

Regardless, if you are looking for a cheap speaker option with decent sound you are honestly better off buying something in person. You can listen to them first in the store but more, if problems arise after setup still get your money back or exchange. That $[...] price tag sure looked great on screen, perhaps even better than the stock photo of the system. I regret buying this system but its also only one man's experience. Yours might work great. Just understand beforehand, you are taking a calculated risk and why take a risk you don't need to?

At least my LCD makes pretty colors.

P.S. - If any cares, I'll happily remove this review when my concerns are resolved.

Instructions desparately needed3
For a low-priced surround-sound system, this item is adequate and may even be considered a bargain. Once I learn the ins-and-outs of its operation, I'm confident that the sound it produces will satisfy my needs.

My minor beef is the short length of the speaker wires, maybe eight feet, inadequate for mounting surround sound speakers in any room bigger than a broom closet.

My major beef is the lack of operating instructions. The vaunted "One-Key Controller" is anything but intuitive to use and, indeed, as I eventually learned, inadequate to the task of setting up and adjusting the volumes of the various speakers. Without the included remote control unit, certain adjustments cannot be made. Also, take the screen display with a grain of salt. When the 5.1 Ch indicator is lit, only the front speakers were operational; when I pressed the Stereo button on the remote and the Stereo indicator lit up, then all of the speakers started producing sound. A few lines of instruction would have saved me much time spent in trial-and-error.
